Creation Description: “Hengqi” is a field installation that explores space and direction. The work, by modifying the humidifier, enables it to release a continuous and stable horizontal mist flow, breaking the physical inertia of the natural rise of water vapor and creating a horizontal and suspended “mist interface” in space.
This milky white horizontal mist, with its definite direction of movement and light, diffused texture, creates a strong visual tension in the space. It is both like a frozen, brief breath and a soft blade that cuts through space. The device is also equipped with a hidden recovery system, allowing water vapor to be recycled and regenerated. Between exhalation and inhalation, an artificial “breathing cycle” is completed.
The work reconstructs our perception of natural phenomena through minimalist mechanical intervention. It invites viewers to gaze upon this line of mist that defies inertia, experiencing a unique sense of space defined and penetrated by “lateral force” in the balance between dissipation and condensation, release and recovery.

这道乳白色的横向气雾，以其确定的运动方向与轻盈弥散的质感，在空间中形成了强烈的视觉张力。它既像一道被凝固的短暂呼吸，又似一道划开空间的柔软刀刃。装置同时设有隐秘的回收系统，让水汽得以循环再生，在呼出与吸纳之间，完成一次人工的“呼吸循环”。
作品以极简的机械介入，重构了我们对自然现象的感知。它邀请观者凝视这道违反惯性的气雾之线，在消散与凝聚、释放与回收的平衡中，体验一种被“横向力”所定义和穿透的独特空间感。
