创作说明：《Scorching sun》的创作是基于浩瀚的宇宙中蕴含着无形的能量和无尽的神秘，当今的世界，“元宇宙”、“人工智能”等概念被追捧，事实上远古中国人不仅对宇宙有过无数的探索，而且将人类与宇宙紧密的联系起来，并以《易经》的八卦来智能化的诠释世界万物的运行机制。该作品是为探索“人类与自然时空对话”的一个艺术项目，遵循聚光镜原理，作品的技术和材料运用一个直径1.1米的聚光镜，利用聚光镜采集“阳光”的热能，经过聚集、放大、扩展，将“光”的能量转化成“火”，创造出一件混合媒介的艺术装置。趁着阳光充足的天气，在创作现场邀请志愿者或参与观众协助安装、对焦及点火，用来自太阳光的能量点燃备好的木材烤炉，当夜幕降临时，提供给露营的人们篝火取暖、烤肉与会友，并点燃备好的煤油灯保存来自太阳的火种直至晚上的篝火晚会。通过作品与大自然完美地融合在一起，链接起人类、土地与阳光的关系，探索自然光如何通过聚光技术联系起遥远的太空，并赋予它们重塑人文景观的有机系统。

Creation Description The creation of “Scorching sun” is based on the fact that the vast universe contains intangible energy and endless mystery. In today’s world, concepts such as “metaverse” and “artificial intelligence” are highly sought after. In fact, ancient Chinese people not only made countless explorations of the universe, but also closely connected human beings with the universe. And it intelligently interprets the operating mechanism of all things in the world with the Eight Trigrams of the I Ching. This work is an art project exploring the “dialogue between human beings and nature in time and space”. It follows the principle of a condenser. The technology and materials of the work use a condenser with a diameter of 1.1 meters. By collecting the thermal energy of “sunlight” through the condenser, and then concentrating, amplifying and expanding it, the energy of “light” is transformed into “fire”, creating a mixed-media art installation. Taking advantage of the sunny weather, volunteers or participating audience members are invited to the creation site to assist with installation, focusing and lighting. The energy from the sunlight is used to light the prepared wooden grill. When night falls, it is provided for campers to keep warm, barbecue and entertain friends. The prepared kerosene lamps are also lit to preserve the fire source from the sun until the bonfire party in the evening. By perfectly integrating with nature through works, it links the relationship between humans, land and sunlight, explores how natural light connects the distant space through concentrating technology, and endows them with an organic system to reshape the humanistic landscape.
